    Good evening,

    I found the pot file of the Bakery theme. I made a few small changes and will upload it again. But where should I add the mo file?

    BTW I use a child theme.

    Hi Steven,

    Bakery comes with a POT file that can be imported into PoEdit to translate. You need to perform the following steps in order to add your translation:

    • Open PoEdit and go to File > New catalog from POT file.
    • Choose bakery.pot and enter your name and details
    • Save your .po file. Name it based on what you are translating to, i.e., a Dutch translation is saved as bakery-nl_NL.po .
    • Save after translating strings. The .mo file is generated automatically.
    • Finally, upload the translation to wp-content/languages/themes/bakery-nl_NL.po
