So it's a manual action to add individual images? I was hoping it was an gallery functionality where you could easily select multiple images which you would show in the footer.
The gallery widget shortcode does not have any UI so you should enter the images ID manually. There is also a Gallery shortcode with UI available which you can also use but not sure if it fits well when used on footer.

Hi Steven,
All you need to do is change the image IDs.
You can get image ID from Media > Library by hovering over the image (see the video below for complete details).
