Following this last post. I'm not able to add other products to the different filterable items.
When i add a product for the 2nd categorie, it end up in the first categorie and also in the 2nd.
I also noticed that the amount of filterable categories is not the same as when i want to add a new filterable item (see screenshot) it looks like the first categorie is missing.
The first category is meant to be the 'All' category. That is why every product belongs to the first category and you cannot select the first category explicitly.

I was re-creating the demo page "products with filters" but my products don't end up next to eachother. Every product is listed below each other.

You need to add WC Product separately inside a Filterable Item as shown below.
