Hi - I am trying to deal with an issue with the menu. On my menu I have a sub category under Gallery (and plan to put sub categories elsewhere) however, the submenu items don't seem to be clickable on tablets. Also on a desktop the sub menu item drops quite a distance down from the main menu item. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this?

I would suggest you to set the width to 1024 from Bakery > Header > Hamburger Menu, so the hamburger menu is shown on tablets.
To decrease the distance between main menu item and submenu items please add the following code in Bakery > Custom Code.
.vu_main-menu > ul > li > ul.sub-menu { padding-top: 15px !important; }
