Hi, for some reason when i press view cart or checkout, the page takes me to homepage instead cart or checkout...

Hi Andre,

Please make sure you have created Cart and Checkout pages with [woocommerce_cart] and[woocommerce_checkout] inside them and set them from WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced.
