I can add items to the cart. However, when I change the quantity, and click "Update Cart," the quantity does not change, and neither does the price. 

Originally installed Bakery 2.2, then upgraded to 2.3 via ftp. However, the Bakery-Child theme still has "2.2" as the version.

Additional info: I started with the "single page" demo content.

After installing "shop" demo content, the cart works as expected.

I did install the child theme from the Bakery 2.3 download package. Unfortunately, the files are all identical to those from Bakery 2.2, including the style.css file, which includes the line:

Version: 2.2

Maybe it is you who ought to have updated the child theme, if only the version number in the script.css file?
