    Hi,

    Apologies for the delay. We have been on vacation for several days.

    We will soon release a new theme version with the latest version of WPBakery Page Builder included. If you want we can provide you the plugin but we do not recommend you to update it without first making sure everything is working fine with the theme.

    when is the new theme version coming out?  is it worth updating now or is this next update coming really soon? will it include the cake template?

    The update will come during this month. If you have upgraded to WP 5.0 then you can update WPBakery Page Builder. Otherwise, there is no need to update it.

    so I did upgrade to WP 5.0 but editing my website became extremely difficult with the new format so I ended up adding the classic WP plugin so that I can edit with WPBakery Page Builder in the classic mode.  Should I update the page builder or should I wait in my case?

    Then go ahead and update WPBakery Page Builder as well. The latest plugin version is compatible with WP 5.0 and has an option which lets you disable Gutenberg editor (see plugin settings).
