    Dear support, help me!

I installed the "Bakery Catalog" demo, but I do not have a clear idea of how to manage the products.
Furthermore,  in the field of the products of the forms present on the "HOME" page and on the "ORDER ONLINE" page, there are two lists of different products , how are the data fed?

Tomorrow morning, I should show the demo to my client and honestly I have no idea what to tell him, could you help me urgently, please?

    Thank you
    Nicola

    Hi Nicola,

The demo you imported does not use WooCommerce to add and manage products. The products are created as pages and the order form is filled manually with the products.

In case you do not like this way of adding products you can then install WooCommerce along with YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Milingona,

I certainly don't like it. I would like my client to be able to manage blog and products (with his account).

I will install WooCommerce along with YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode.

Could you tell me as do this?

    Kind regards,

     Nicola

    Hi Nicola,

First of all, just to clarify; your client will be able to manage blog and products with both ways, it is more an issue of ease and functionality that you want to have.

To install that plugin simply follow the standard procedure of adding plugins from WordPress.org repository i.e. go to Plugins > Add New.

    Hi Milingona,

First of all, thank you for your notice, I appreciated it very much.

I take advantage of your kindness to ask you two questions / suggestions.

My client's children are able to manage blog and product, they have a very open mind and marketing policies especially on social networks.
Initially, they want a product catalog with the possibility of ordering and collection at their points of sale, subsequently selling online.
    It's possible to do it?

Also, I want to replace the demo with "bakery main", saving are two pages of the current demo.
    What do you suggest me?

I look forward to your feedback, possibly in a short time.

    Kind regards,

    Nicola

    Hi Nicola,

The best way to go in your situation is YITH WooCommerce Catalog Mode plugin. It will allow you to basically set a shop without ecommerce part. Once you are ready to lunch cart and checkout you will need to simply disable it.

Unfortunately, switching from one demo to another is not possible. The only alternative is to install the other demo on a new directory and then manually migrate the current pages.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind regards,

    Hey Nicola,

Yes, that is one way of importing the current pages to the new demo content. Make sure to copy and save the content from Text View of Classic Mode and then once you install the new demo version create new pages with those saved content.

    Best regards,
