Bakery theme comes with a POT file that can be imported into PoEdit to translate. You need to perform the following steps in order to add your translation:
Open PoEdit and go to File > New catalog from POT file.
Choose bakery.pot and enter your name and details
Save your .po file. Name it based on what you are translating to, i.e., an Italian translation is saved as bakery-it_IT.po .
Save after translating strings. The .mo file is generated automatically.
Finally, upload the translation to wp-content/languages/themes/bakery-it_IT.po
Upcoming events is simply a countdown shortcode that allows you to add details and time until a specific event.
to do a translation test, I translated two strings without success and unfortunately the bakery theme no longer displays correctly , after having deactivated and reactivated it, in practice: I see the old logo visual composer does not seem to work
If it can be useful, inside admin -> plugins I see the message: "Theme license validation: In order to make the theme fully functional, you need to enter your purchase code here."
In the directory: / httpdocs / wp-content / themes / bakery / languages I just added two new files bakery-it_IT.po and bakery-it_IT.mo, without doing anything else. Translated strings: From "No Comments" to "No Comments" and From "Type and hit enter" to "Write and hit enter"
Help me to solve the problem of bakery theme and of the translation of the two strings, please.
Sorry for the delay! We have just translated them. You should have placed translated bakery-it_IT.po & .mo at '/wp-content/languages/themes' and bakery-shortcodes-it_IT.po & .mo into '/wp-content/languages/plugins'. Also, some strings have been translated directly from Widgets.
If you want to translate other strings please just update the files above.
