Hi Team, I hope you are doing great. WordPress just updated their version this week, and now the slideshow functionality is not working. I had updated all the modules because the system required it due to the general WP upgrade, but it seems there is an issue upgrading:
WPBakery Page Builder You have version 6.1 installed. Update to 6.4.0. View version 6.4.0 details. Compatibility with WordPress 5.5.1: Unknown
I tried upgrading this module, but then I get this error message:
An error occurred while updating WPBakery Page Builder: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?
I clicked on the "Settings" link and it just takes me to a blank page stating that:
Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.
Weirdly I am the sole user with Admin/Owner level to the account, so dont understand where this link is trying to go. Will appreciate your kind help to fix our website asap. Thank you in advance.
We updated for you both WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution plugins to the latest versions. Please check and let us know if everything is working now as it should.
Thanks so much for your kind update. We have cleared the cache on webserver, but unfortunately the problem that resulted since this upgrade persists, namely: the slideshow on the HOmePage is not displaying the images (also on the footer same problem). This does not seem to be associated with the image server/folder... images are correctly displayed on the rest of website. The problem is soletly isolated to the images not being displayed on the Slider Revolution component.
We will appreciate your kind further revision and hopeful fixing. We stand by toyour advise if there is any way we can help. Thank you in advance.
I hope you are doing well. Our site is now down. Did you guys make any editions since yesterday? Please advise and roll back anything done is this is the case. We are not even able to log into our backend! Please advise. Thank you.
