Google Maps - Retired version

    Hi,

I'm very happy with the Bakery template, but the Google Maps is not showing correctly. I've added coordinates to center on and I've put in several points of interest that should be shown as markers, but only the default example data is visible...

Furthermore, none of the available settings (in Bakery > Map) seem to change something in the map that is shown on the page.

Do I need to enable something? Or could the cause be the messages I get in the dev console? (I'll put them beneath this message)

I'm creating the website using Local, that runs Wordpress local in development phase.

    Thanks for your help!

    Sam

    ### Warning 1 ###

As of February 21st, 2024, google.maps.Marker is deprecated. Please use google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement instead. At this time, google.maps.Marker is not scheduled to be discontinued, but google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement is recommended over google.maps.Marker. While google.maps.Marker will continue to receive bug fixes for any major regressions, existing bugs in google.maps.Marker will not be addressed. At least 12 months notice will be given before support is discontinued.

Okay, I just had to toggle the checkbox 'Inherit from theme settings' in the map window.

Should have searched some more before I bothered you with this ticket. :)

I'm sorry, thanks for the nice theme!
